SUPPORT & FAQ

Answers for clipping, reusable libraries, exports and Paystack activation.

Why didn't a scan fill every field?

Supplier sites expose product information differently. Contractor Clipper prefers structured product data, then checks page metadata and specification tables. Review detected values before saving; any missing field can be corrected manually.

Does it watch every site I visit?

No. It has no broad supplier-site host permission. Product-page reading happens after you invoke Contractor Clipper and click Scan current product.

Where are products, projects and client details stored?

They remain in Chrome local extension storage. Use Backup in the quote workspace to keep a separate JSON copy.

How does a paid plan activate?

Choose Pro or Business, complete recurring checkout on Paystack, copy the activation license shown after verified payment, then open Library & Pro Tools → Plan & Billing and activate it. The optional billing permission is requested only at that point.

Why is my paid plan temporarily unavailable?

Use Refresh status in Plan & Billing. A verified paid entitlement is cached for a limited offline period; cancellation or an inactive Paystack subscription returns the extension to Free limits after entitlement refresh.

Does the client approval file send my quote anywhere?

No. Business approval packages are standalone files. The client downloads a response JSON and sends it back to you; you import it into the quote workspace. This is response tracking, not a qualified electronic-signature service.

Why are cost and markup missing from the client PDF?

That is intentional. Internal supplier cost and markup are hidden from client-facing print/PDF output.
